Katie is the founder of the animal welfare organization Peace 4 Animals, she is the executive producer of the Award-Winning Documentary "Give Me Shelter" on Netflix, and she is the Founder and Editor-In-Chief of World Animal News.

Her favorite movies are Der Pate (1972), Gladiator (2000), Blood Diamond (2006), 300 (2006), Across the Universe (2007).

Katie's passion has always been taking care of animals. Her goal is to one day start her own rescue center and sanctuary for unwanted and abused exotic and domestic animals.

Graduated from Carthage College in Kenosha, Wisconsin in 2004 with a Bachelors degree in Business and Marketing.
