- Johannes Wirix (Sint-Niklaas, 18 July 1997) is a Belgian actor. Wirix was born in Belgium and raised in Haarlem. In 2020 he received his degree in acting at the Royal Conservatory of Antwerp. During his study he spent one year at the Silvio D'Amico National Acting Academy. Since then he started also writing and performing in Italian.
In January 2020 he was awarded the second prize of the 2019 Lydia Biondi International Prize in Rome for having written and performed his monologue 'Sono tutti loro'.
More recently, Wirix has been cast for several Dutch and Belgian theatreprojects. In 2023, Wirix starred in the film 'Comandante', an Italian-Belgian co-production written and directed by Sandro Veronesi and Edoardo De Angelis.
