A two-time Emmy Award-winning editor, Sven began his film-making career
in San Francisco at 10 years old with a super 8 camera and some lighter
fluid. Sven has been working in film and television since 1986. While
working for PBS he won two Emmy Awards for editing ("Farewell to Farms"
and "High Expectations"). In 2001, as an independent filmmaker in need
of heart surgery with no health insurance, the Larry King Foundation
came to his aid and paid for his surgery and all his medical bills.
Currently, Sven is writing and directing several projects with his
production company, Dying Art Productions.
