- Danny Stack started out as a script reader for companies like Miramax, Working Title, Pathe, UK Film Council and Irish Film Board, among others. He helped set-up the Red Planet Prize with Tony Jordan, designed to seek out new TV writing talent. His own screenwriting credits include EastEnders, the new Thunderbirds for ITV, Hey Duggee, and other popular kids' TV shows. He is most widely known for his work in the kids/family genre but he likes to work across many genres and formats. His supernatural thriller, Origin (which he wrote, produced & directed) won Best Horror at the London Independent Film Festival.

- He won the BBC NI Tony Doyle Bursary Award for New Writing for his coming of age drama 'Run for Home'.
- He began his TV and Film career as a special effects assistant in Ardmore Studios, Ireland. After moving to London, he worked in Channel 4's Entertainment department.
