She is a graduate of the University of Ulster (Northern Ireland)

She has two sisters Edwina (b. 1969) and Denise (b. 1972) and one brother Dermot (b. 1980)

She is founder of Production Co. Yucca Productions.

She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Theatre Studies from the University of Ulster, Coleraine, Northern Ireland.

She began acting at the age of 7 at The Betty Norton school in Dublin.
