Joe Casey is a writer/producer/content creator whose career in comic books, television and feature films has spanned more than two decades. Along with lengthy stints writing Superman, the X-Men, the Avengers, Iron Man, GI Joe and many others, Casey is the creator of Marvel's America Chavez (from Marvel Studios' Doctor Strange In The Multiverse of Madness). He is also known for his Eisner Award-nominated cosmic superhero epic, Gødland. His critically-acclaimed runs on series such as Wildcats and Automatic Kafka landed on numerous "best of the decade" lists. His genre-busting cult-favorites Officer Downe and Butcher Baker the Righteous Maker helped propel him onto MTV.com's list of the 10 best writers of 2011. Comics Alliance described him as "the most dangerous man in comics." Casey's Officer Downe feature film was released in 2015 with Casey as the creator/screenwriter/producer based upon his original graphic novel.
He is a founding partner of Man of Action Entertainment, the writers' collective behind pop culture's largest franchise characters as well as original characters published by their MOA imprint at Image Comics. In addition to creating successful video games, toy lines and comic books, MOA are the creator/producer/writers of current and upcoming feature films and live-action TV series based on their original comic books and graphic novels.
