Simon Stockdale was born and raised in West Philadelphia as the youngest of six. He grew up making home videos, sketch comedy and writing and directing skits and videos for his church. After graduating college he began a new YouTube channel - SimonsRants - to review movies.
After five years of film criticism, Simon began work on his own original feature film - The Softening.
