Tony has been acting in film and television for more than 15 years. With recurring, supporting and principal roles for shows on The WB, FOX, CBC and MTV, Tony worked and trained in Vancouver from 2000 to 2007, when he committed himself full time to finishing a BFA in Film Studies at Simon Fraser University, with his graduating film premiering at TIFF in 2008, going on to play at SXSW, AFI Docs and VIFF, among others festivals.
As a filmmaker, his work focuses on the themes of family, history and place. He has screened to international audiences in festivals such as TIFF, SXSW, True/False, VIFF and AFI SilverDocs. In 2010, he was chosen for the TIFF Talent Lab filmmaker development conference and its emerging filmmaker competition and selected for the RIDM Industry Conference in 2013 as part of the Rough Cut Sessions. "Frank and the Wondercat" is his first feature film, which premiered at the Vancouver International Film Festival in September 2015 and playing at festivals around North America.
He lives and works in Vancouver, BC Canada.
