Alejandra Bruno was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina. She is a director, screenwriter, professor, and video game developer. Graduate in Film and Television Directing (CIEVYC) and Screenwriting (TEBA). Her written scripts include work for film directors and producers like Juan Carlos Desanzo, David Lipszyc and Néstor Sánchez Sotelo. Alejandra started out as a director by filming 16 mm shortcuts: Pas de Deux (1996) and The afternoon snack (1997). She then worked as assistant director and art director in advertising in Buenos Aires and Madrid. She teaches videogames media narrative at Image Campus School.
Her unpublished novel has won the competition 'Letras del Fondo Nacional de las Artes' (2018) and is being adapted to film.
She is currently working on a film screenplay Daughter of the Delta, which was selected in the official competition of the International Festival of La Habana, 2019.
