Steven is an award-winning filmmaker living and working in Los Angeles, California. He has written, directed, and produced numerous shorts, feature films, documentaries, commercials, and reality television episodes.
Born and raised in Texas, Steven received a Master of Fine Arts with a specialization in Directing from the American Film Institute. Steven also holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the School of Visual Arts in New York City, where for his undergraduate thesis project, he wrote and directed his first feature film JACKLIGHT.
Steven has worked in development for the feature film departments at Bedford Falls and Castle Rock. He has also worked as a producer for NBC's BIGGEST LOSER in addition to serving as a supervising producer & director on a web series for Walgreens and NBC. As well, Steven has served as director and supervising producer for Sotheby's LEGACIES OF LA.
Steven's previous feature film, HUNGER was selected for release under the prestigious Fangoria Frightfest banner. It went on to reach #1 on the iTunes bestseller list for horror films as well as being featured in Walmart's in-store Halloween Movie Night before being featured on Showtime, The Movie Channel, Chiller TV, Amazon, and Netflix.
His deep-rooted passion for creative storytelling is complemented by his steadfast dedication to the continued study of film and television history. Embracing the power of collaboration, Steven firmly believes in uniting talents to realize a singular, well-defined vision.
