Tom Heard is an actor and filmmaker. He has starred in numerous feature films including, True Rights (2000), Revenge in Kind (2017), and has appeared on NBC's, Friday Night Lights (2006). A member of Actor's Equity Association, he also has performed in theaters all over the U.S.
He is the writer/director/co-producer and star of, Getting It (2020) (2020), which received worldwide release from Breaking Glass Pictures. With a mere 30k budget, the film has received multiple 4 out of 5 star reviews, is a winner at numerous film festivals, as well as winning a Best Screenplay award for Heard at the 2021 Independent Film Awards.
Born in Long Beach, California, Heard grew up in Austin, Texas where he first started acting at the age of nine. He began his professional career performing on stages in San Diego, Chicago, Vancouver and Salt Lake City.
In 2022 he began writing the screenplay for a new feature film entitled, "Comeback."
