I am a Location Scout based in Vancouver, British Columbia, and I am proud to be a member of the Directors Guild of Canada (DGC) and the Location Managers Guild International (LMGI). With a passion for location-driven scripts, I bring more than 25 years of experience to the table, constantly evolving and adapting to new challenges.
In response to the pandemic, I developed a 360-degree virtual tour system, which has proven invaluable for remote scouting. Additionally, I've recently integrated drone technology into my scouting toolkit, enhancing the scope of my work.
Back in 2010, I designed the curriculum for the Introduction to Location Scouting course offered by the DGC BC and dedicated seven years to educating hundreds of students. When the Covid-19 pandemic hit, I was the first instructor to transition to an online teaching format.
I also successfully organized a photography competition for location scouts in British Columbia and have contributed feature articles to the LMGI's Compass Magazine.
My freelance clientele is impressively diverse, ranging from a university and film studio to municipalities, liaison companies, hotels, property management companies, and private residences.
Over the past two years, I've had the privilege of collaborating with these varied clients, bringing a unique skill set to each project.
