Match #1: A.J. Francis def. Frankie Kazarian, Sami Callihan, Laredo Kid, Jake Something & Jason Hotch The following is courtesy of tnawrestling.com:
The stakes are high in our opening contest as Frankie Kazarian, A.J. Francis, Sami Callihan, Laredo Kid, Jake Something and Jason Hotch clash for the coveted #20 spot in the Call Your Shot Gauntlet this Saturday on Countdown to Bound For Glory. But whoever is pinned or submits in this bout must enter Call Your Shot at #1. It’s total chaos as all six competitors are legal at the same time. In the end, Callihan spikes Kazarian with the Cactus Driver 97 but A.J. Francis picks up the pieces. Francis pins Kazarian to score the victory!
My Score: 3.5 out of 5 Match #2: Josh Alexander def.

These tag team legends have been a welcome shot in the arm for the company, which has enjoyed a resurgence, especially in 2024. They’ll look to add to their impressive resume by challenging for the Tag Championship against The System’s Eddie Edwards and Brian Myers against ABC made up of Ace Austin and Chris Bey at Bound For Glory. Taking the gold at the company’s biggest event of the year won’t be easy with two other teams involved. Not to mention they’ll be battling it out in “Full Metal Mayhem,...

Match #1: Steve Maclin def. Hammerstone The following is courtesy of tnawrestling.com:
The night kicks off with a heated matchup between Steve Maclin and Hammerstone. The two powerhouses lock up, with Maclin lighting Hammerstone up with hard chops. However, Hammerstone’s power is too much to contain as he delivers a massive spinebuster, swinging the momentum in his favor. He follows up with multiple slams before attempting a Torture Rack, but Maclin reverses it into a backbreaker on his knee. With Hammerstone down, Maclin sets him up for “Into the Crosshairs,” but Hammerstone kicks out. The match takes another turn when Hammerstone counters Maclin’s Kia attempt with a powerslam. The action spills to the outside, and both men battle their way to the top rope.

The WWE WrestleMania is one of the biggest events in the world of professional wrestling. The popularity of the event has only grown over the years, as have the stakes.

Aew Revolution 2024 was a hell of a show and it ended with the satisfying finale of Sting’s time in the ring. The final stretch of Sting’s career was a wonderful chance to set things right for the legendary wrestler, after the wrestling business had constantly let him down over the years. He was once the ace of WCW, but the incompetence and selfishness of others hurt his legacy in different ways at different promotions. But despite being in his 60s, his three years at Aew allowed him to go out on his own terms.
The Stinger is a beloved icon for a reason. While he did get wrapped up in such unfortunate things as the WCW mini-movies, the Shockmaster, the ill-fated Hulk Hogan match at Starrcade, and a really unfortunate PPV main event involving Jeff Hardy, Sting was still one of WCW’s great highlights and kicked a...

As is the case with Roman Reigns in modern WWE, sometimes a champion’s reign lasts way too long. But the opposite can also be true. Somebody could get a big title win and only hold onto the belt for a few weeks, possibly even days, before being forced back to square one. For one reason or another, there are a select group of wrestlers in WWE who dropped the title way earlier than they should have.
On this list of wrestlers who needed more time with their championships, we will not be including those who were forced to vacate due to injury. It seems too easy an answer, so here’s an honorable mention for Finn Balor, Daniel Bryan, Edge, and the rest of the champs who had to vacate the belt for physical reasons.
15. Triple H as Undisputed Champion (2002)

As promised, the pro wrestling company Aew delivered the first ever “Texas Chain Saw Massacre Death Match” live on TBS last night, a cross promotion with Gun Interactive’s Texas Chain Saw Massacre: The Game that pit Jeff Hardy up against Jeff Jarrett in a match uniquely themed after the multiplayer horror game that releases tomorrow (August 18).
We went into last night’s show having absolutely no idea what the hell a “Texas Chain Saw Massacre Death Match” even is, and now that we’ve seen it, well, we’re still not quite sure.
The “match” began in the backstage area, with Hardy and Jarrett – plus a whole bunch of other interfering wrestlers – beating each other up. Despite the commentary team doing their best to sell the backstage brawl as a spectacle the likes of which they’d never seen before, it was mostly like any other backstage fight we...

Gun Interactive’s The Texas Chain Saw Massacre: The Game releases on Friday, August 18, and the pro wrestling promotion Aew is celebrating in a highly unique way.
An official partnership with the upcoming multiplayer slasher game, Aew is hosting the first-ever “Texas Chainsaw Massacre Death Match Championship” on their popular weekly show “Aew Dynamite” next Wednesday night, August 16, at 8/7c live on TBS.
What exactly is a “Texas Chainsaw Massacre Death Match Championship”? Well, it sounds like a new spin on an anything-goes “Hardcore Match,” and the participants are Jeff Jarrett and Jeff Hardy. In last night’s promo spot, Jeff Jarrett even teased that Leatherface himself “just might be in the house,” so you better believe we’ll be watching next Wednesday night.
For those who don’t follow professional wrestling, Aew is a rival promotion to WWE, and with major financial backing it’s become the first legit...

The world is in for a treat when All Elite Wrestling sends the signal from Canada Life Center in Winnipeg on Wednesday, March 15.
Aew Dynamite and Aew Rampage will air from Winnipeg on Wednesday and Friday, respectively, marking only the second time that professional wrestling’s newest major player makes the trek north. Jericho is often considered among the greatest professional wrestlers in history and certainly one of the best to ever represent Canada.
In 2018, Jericho left WWE for a dream match against fellow Winnipeg native Kenny Omega. The match was brokered by another Winnipeg professional wrestling personality, Don Callis, and it headlined New Japan Pro Wrestling’s (Njpw) famed Wrestle Kingdom card at the Tokyo Dome. Jericho says it’s fitting for Aew to debut in Winnipeg due to the influence that match had on the eventual formation of Aew.

“Wow: Women of Wrestling” is climbing the top rope and launching onto television screens everywhere.
Originally created by “Glow: Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling” founder David McLane, the modern iteration of “Wow” is owned by McLane and Los Angeles Lakers President Jeanie Buss. The promotion, which features former WWE Divas champion A.J. Mendez in an executive producer and creative capacity, platforms women in an industry that has historically been kinder to men.
“I feel like as a superhero, you have a lot of responsibility in your role,” Kandi Krush tells Et Canada of the “superhero” label assigned to the show’s wrestlers. “And for me, that means to empower and uplift young women to be able to go after their own dreams and goals. To see that strength is a powerful, beautiful thing and that women can be strong and beautiful at the same time. To be able to see themselves on TV and think,...

Another episode of Aew: Dark, which this week features fourteen, yes Fourteen(!), matches. Though this show has also gone back to the traditional format after last week’s tremendous show which showcased two matches filmed internationally… I fear no Dark may ever live up to last weeks… Especially not one crammed with 14 matches like the old pandemic days!
Match #1: Jora Johl def. Luke Sampson
My Thoughts: Poor Jora Johl, it really looked like he was being set up to be a big star, with a future turn against Matt Hardy probably propelling him up the Aew card. Then Jeff hardy joined Aew and the Hfo disbanded and Johl has been seemingly forgotten. Though he has out in some decent time on Aew’s YouTube shows, it feels like he’s fallen into the Factory/Dark Order trap – win against jobbers on YouTube, Be the jobber of Dynamite/Rampage!
