Andrew Günsberg and his family immigrated to Australia when he was four
months of age and he was raised in Adelaide, South Australia and
Brisbane, Queensland.
Andrew attended St Joseph's Gregory Terrace in Brisbane, graduating in 1991.
Andrew has had an extensive radio career, beginning as a Black Thunder promotions driver and the midnight to dawn shifts on B105 in Brisbane as "Spidey". Andrew then moved to Adelaide where he worked for SAFM as an announcer on the afternoon shift.
Andrew first made the move to television in 1999, as a VJ on Channel[V]'s music shows 'By Demand', 'The Joint', and later 'whatUwant'.
Andrew became a household name in Australia after sharing hosting duties of Australian Idol (2003) with fellow Channel [V] co-star, James Mathison for six seasons. He names the Beastie Boys amongst his idols, and one of his favorite career highlights was interviewing them in May 1999.
Andrew is a vegan, and was married to Israeli-born actress Noa Tishby.
