Matti Geschonneck

Son of Erwin Geschonneck and Hannelore Wüst.
Studied film at the Eisenstein Institute in Moscow.
Emigrated to West Germany in the late 1970s.
Longtime companion of Eva-Maria Hagen.
Lived together with Eva-Maria Hagen for some years.
Was named after the character "Matti" from Bertolt Brecht's play "Mr Puntilla and his Man Matti".
