Kate Gartside

Kate trained as an actor at The Drama Centre, London. Whilst playing leading roles in theatre, TV and film she began writing and has scripted episodes of major UK TV series, singles and miniseries. Her BBC/Discovery film The Challenger, starring Oscar winner William Hurt and directed by James Hawes (One Life) won the Royal Television Society award for Best Single Drama. Kate continues to develop a dual career in acting and writing.
