Can it really be 20 years since Kristi Yamaguchi won an Olympic gold medal in women’s figure skating?
“I know!” the ever-youthful looking Yamaguchi, now 40, tells People with a laugh.
“It’s hard to believe, but 1992 in Albertville was a big deal because not only was it the Olympics, but that’s where my husband (Bret Hedican, who played for the U.S. men’s Olympic hockey team) and I met.”
The couple married in July 2000 and have two daughters: Keara Kiyomi, 8, and Emma Yoshiko, 6.

Happy 42nd Birthday to Rudy Galindo, and Happy 60th Birthday to Chrissie Hynde. Time to name your top five Pretenders songs! Here are mine: 5. "Back on The Chain Gang" 4. "Message of Love" 3. "2000 Miles" 2. "Don't Get Me Wrong" 1. "Brass in Pocket".
Syfy has renewed Alphas for a second season. I know it has a lot of fans, but I don't think I've seen a show with so many unlikable characters (I'm looking at you, angry guy and annoying kid). The Daily Show's "Senior Black Correspondent" Larry Wilmore has been cast as Brad's boss on Happy Endings, in what may become a recurring role. Below you can see Wynter Gordon's new video "Buy My Love." It's basically an homage to every movie shopping scene, and the backup dancer in the acid-wash jacket really sells the 80's vibe. Olympic champion figure skater Kristi Yamaguchi spoke to EW before heading to Vancouver to serve as special correspondent for NBC's Today show. Take some time during tonight's intermittent coverage of the ladies' short program to check out her answers to PopWatch readers' questions. Look for another Kristi post before Thursday's long program, and come back for our PopWatch on Ice recap tomorrow morning. In the meantime...Toe Pick! What American female skater has the best chance at gold (or any medal)? -Tory It's definitely an outside chance for both of our girls, Rachael Flatt and Mirai Nagasu. But in my opinion,...

I know that women's figure skating is supposed to be the must-see event at the Winter Olympics, but I can't help but prefer the men's competition. And that's not just because the men perform feats of flexibility that utterly baffle me (see this). Nope, I'll admit that one of the main reasons I tune into men's figure skating is for...the fashion. Now, I know that we here on PopWatch on Ice have already discussed figure skating attire after the pairs short program on Sunday. But I feel that we haven't completely exhausted the topic, since Tatyana Volosozhar and Stanislav...

Kevin McHale as Glee's Artie
A: “I think it was [creator] Ryan [Murphy’s idea],” Kevin McHale tells us of that striking scene that has him moving around the school in his wheelchair and singing, sometimes in normal motion while everyone else is in slow motion. “[Ryan] was the one who walked by me a few episodes before and he was, like, ‘Learn “Dancing With Myself.’ It was cool.”
As for the unique, wheel-popping choreography, “It was very unconventional,” Kevin admits. “Me and the choreographer, Zach [Woodlee], kind of knew what I could do in the chair. He’s amazing. It was us figuring certain types...
