MTV released the nominations for this year’s awards ceremony, with Taylor Swift leading the pack with seven nominations, including Best Video, Best Pop and Biggest Fans.

Ariana Grande, Billie Eilish, Charli xcx and Sabrina Carpenter all scored five nominations each, and first-time nominees Chappell Roan and Tyla follow closely behind.

The 2024 MTV EMAs will broadcast live across the globe on Sunday, November 10 from Manchester, United Kingdom. The show will also be available in multiple international territories live on Pluto TV and on-demand on Paramount+.

19 nominees have the chance to score their first ever MTV Ema at this year’s show, including Tinashe and Jimin.

The “Biggest Fans” winners will be voted for at a later date on social via @Mtvema.

The Oasis reunion tour is headed to North America.

The band, which are reforming for a bumper worldwide tour, have now added five dates to Oasis Live ’25. This will encompass stadium gigs in Toronto on August 24, 2025, Chicago (August 28), New Jersey (August 31), LA (September 6) and finally Mexico City (September 12). The Gallagher brothers had teased a major announcement over the weekend.

UK and Ireland shows were announced last month amid fervorish speculation the band was getting back together after years of acrimony and sniping between brothers Noel and Liam Gallagher.

Fans can register on a North American ticket private ballot until Tuesday, October 1 at 8am Et, with the sale taking place on Thursday (October 3).

General tickets will go on sale on Friday (October 4) at 12pm local time and will be available from Ticketmaster.

Thousands of Oasis fans were left disappointed when they were unable to get tickets to the band’s much-feted reunion gigs scheduled for next summer across the UK, but they could have the next best thing – hearing the band perform on a live album of the event.

The Sun newspaper reports that Noel and Liam Gallagher will be offered the chance to record a live album of the Oasis Live ’25 concerts. They cite a source close to the band sharing:

“The Oasis reunion is an historic moment and these concerts will be talked about for decades to come. Many people around the brothers think they have to capture the shows.
