Now that the box-office success of A Complete Unknown has achieved the seemingly impossible feat of turning at least a few Gen-z viewers into Bob Dylan stans, Hollywood’s biopic wave is about to turn into a tsunami. Next up is the Bruce Springsteen movie Deliver Me From Nowhere, starring Jeremy Allen White, and four separate Beatles movies from director Sam Mendes. Warning! Spoilers ahead for Better Man.Robin Williams' biopic, Better Man, shows a conflict between him and Liam Gallagher, and it's curious if this is actually true. The film piqued interest after the promotions revealed that Williams would be portrayed as a CGI monkey. Although Better Man is receiving phenomenal reviews, the biopic's box office performance is rather abysmal, raising the question as to why Better Man is struggling to find an audience despite its quality. Regardless, the movie does a superb job of showcasing the multiple relationships throughout the singer's life, raising the question — did Williams really challenge Liam Gallagher to a fight?
Better Man shows a remarkable range of talent across the singer's career, and the cast list is impressive. One of the principal relationships in Better Man is Nicole Appleton. Williams' former relationship with the All Saints member is connected closely with his feud with Gallagher. One...

Better Man is a wonderfully bizarre and completely refreshing entry in the biopic genre. The film centers around the prominent British musician, Robbie Williams, and his rise to stardom. The decision to portray Williams as a CGI monkey was divisive, but one that ultimately helped the movie to gain the momentum it has — as audiences remain fascinated by Michael Gracey's Better Man. The biopic has secured gleaming reviews and sits at an incredibly impressive 92% audience score on Rotten Tomatoes. Despite the feature's success, Better Man poses some unanswered questions regarding the nature of Williams' unfolding relationships.
Better Man's cast of characters is extensive, showcasing an array of talent across the singer's career. Among the varying relationships through the years, All Saints singer, Nicole Appleton, is one of the most integral figures in Williams' life. Although Better Man fabricated the duo's first interaction, the film does not fail to deliver...

Marcus J. Billy Bob Thornton was reduced to tears when he watched his new movie 'Standing on the Shoulders of Kitties', writer-and-star Mike Smith has revealed. The comedy film - which is based on the Canadian TV series 'Trailer Park Boys' - sees Mike's character Bubbles form a country band and then get offered a European tour supporting Thornton's rock group the Boxmasters. Mike and Billy have been friends for around 10 years and the comic actor wrote the movie with him in mind. When the pair watched 'Standing on the Shoulders of Kitties' together at a premiere held at Abbey Road Studios - the iconic London recording studio where The Beatles made their albums and which serves as the location for the film's finale - Mike was astonished to see the 'Landman' star crying over one particularly poignant scene, and it was a moment that filled Mike with immense pride and happiness.

Ever since Oasis finally announced a reunion last year, Liam Gallagher has been predictably vocal in discussing the 2025 tour on Twitter. Fans angry over obscene ticket prices? “Attitude Stinks.” That SNL “Weekend Update” sketch? “Excruciating.” Irish punk band Fontaines DC are not Oasis fans? “Fuck them, little spunkbubbles.” Not sure if they’ll sound as great as they did back in the day? “Listen here you Cunt even on our bad day we’ll still wipe the floor with majority of bands out there.”

Radiohead have had a spy in their midst for years. As his excellent new book, How to Disappear: A Portrait of Radiohead, reveals, bassist Colin Greenwood has been snapping candid, lovely photographs of his bandmates since the early 2000s — in the studio, in dressing rooms, and even, somehow, onstage during the middle of their concerts.

With just a few weeks left in the year, it seems like everybody is looking back at the last 12 months and taking inventory of their 2024 (we certainly are!). viagogo, the world’s largest secondary ticket marketplace for live events, has decided to join in on the fun, as they’ve revealed the best-selling touring artists that blew through the United Kingdom in 2024.
Topping the list, perhaps unsurprisingly, is none other than Taylor Swift, whose “Eras Tour” brought in a record-breaking $2 billion in ticket sales over the course of its many legs (making it the biggest tour in history). As a bonus, viagogo also listed out the cities in the UK with the “most devoted swifties,” or, in English, the places that bought the most Taylor Swift tickets. For that honor, London takes the top spot, with Manchester, Nottingham, Glasgow, and Edinburgh following in that order.

The Golden Bachelorette stars Joan Vassos and Chock Chapple are reaching for the stars, and if they skip the wedding, I believe that their love will live forever. Being legally married will put more pressure on the couple. At this stage in life, a wedding really isn't necessary. These two have lived, loved and lost, and both know that a piece of paper isn't what it's all about. It's about the love inside two people.
If they really care, their bond will be like steel, with or without wedding rings.
Chock seemed to shy away from marrying his late fiancée Kathy Goree, who tragically died of brain cancer. He misses Kathy, and Joan will always mourn the loss of her husband, John Vassos, who passed away due to pancreatic cancer. On John's birthday, November 27, Joan took to TikTok to share her feelings. Some lessons need to be learned over and over again. When Bob Dylan and the Beatles broke through in the Sixties, they paved the way for generations of artists to write their own songs. But by the early 2000s, the charts had been largely reclaimed by pro songwriters and svengali producers — until a young, putatively country artist named Taylor Swift came along.
As Swift rapidly moved toward pop stardom, guitar always in hand, she started an industry-wide movement toward artists — especially young women — writing about their own lives again. “When...

Decades never start quite on time, pop-culturally speaking, and it’s tempting to say that the Sixties didn’t really kick off until the Beatles played The Ed Sullivan Show in 1964, just as “Smells Like Teen Spirt” started the Nineties in 1991. But as David Browne’s new book, Talkin’ Greenwich Village: The Heady Rise and Slow Fall of America’s Bohemian Music Capital, suggests, the Sixties’ spirit really began in Greenwich Village, not Liverpool — and the music that really got it going was written by Bob Dylan. In June of 1963, Peter,...

Legendary rock band Oasis announced that after a 15-year feud between the two brothers, they have settled their differences and plan to embark on a 2025 North American tour.
Seven stadium dates in North America are set for next summer, with shows in Toronto, New Jersey, Chicago, Mexico City and Los Angeles, and various sources have reported that the band is also expected to tour outside of the continent later in the year. Celebrated rock group Cage the Elephant will open for the Britpop duo.
Brothers Noel and Liam Gallagher formed Oasis in 1991, and the band went on to produce some of the most prominent songs of the 90s. To this day, their hit ‘Wonderwall’ is the quintessential song men use to demonstrate their acoustic guitar skills, usually at parties or on dates.

However, only some things were disputes. For extra comedic effect, the skit’s brothers agreed that Sex and the City character Mr. Big is a “toxic legend,” along...

“Are they meant to be comedians,” he replied.

Noel and Liam Gallagher might not be doing press before their world tour kicks off in 2025, but that’s not stopping “Oasis” from taking interviews… at least on “SNL.” Though last night’s sketch may have entertained some fans, Liam wasn’t having any of it. After a fan tagged him on X (formerly Twitter) in a clip from the show, he responded, “Are they meant to be comedians?”
James Austin Johnson and Sarah Sherman took portrayed the brothers Gallagher, particularly ranking fans across the Atlantic. Their “Gallagher brothers” were in a bad mood from the jump after “Weekend Update” host Colin Jost asked if they’ll be able to get along long enough for the tour to happen, as the infamously contentious brothers have publicly fought frequently over the years.
“I’m cool if he’s cool,” Johnson’s Noel replied.
“I’m cool,” Sherman’s Liam immediately answered.

Nearly a year before their much anticipated Oasis reunion tour, Noel and Liam Gallagher shared the stage for the first time together in year on “Saturday Night Live.” Well, sort of…
James Austin Johnson and Sarah Sherman took to “Weekend Update” as the long estranged Gallagher brothers, promising host Colin Jost that they won’t break up again before their tour next year.
“Everyone’s wondering, are you guys gonna be cool to tour a year from now?” Jost asked the Gallaghers.
“I’m cool if he’s cool,” Johnson’s Noel responded.
“I’m cool, I’m cool, I’m cooler than you are,” Sherman’s Liam shot back.
Jost wasn’t convinced. “Great. So, that’s a no.”
The Oasis reunion tour is already shaping up to be the biggest concert experience of 2025, with U.S. tour dates recently added and thousands of fans scrambling to nab seats online.

Liam Gallagher has announced that he and his brother Noel won’t be doing any joint interviews for Oasis’ 2025 reunion because they don’t want to answer “intrusive questions” and have the media try to “pick holes in our relationship.”
Liam tweeted the revelation on Thursday, October 10th, while replying to a user who suggested that fans should respect the idea of the Gallagher brothers’ relationship being more important than the band itself — and acknowledge the harmful role the media played in their tensions. In response, Liam wrote “Respek.”

“This world is bullshit,” Chappell Roan recently said, during an extended TikTok rant. “You shouldn’t model your life on what we think is cool and what we’re wearing and what we’re saying and everything. Go with yourself.” All right, fine, that was actually what Fiona Apple said on the VMAs in 1997 — and at the time, Apple’s dissatisfaction with fame briefly threatened to become the essence of her brand, overshadowing the brilliance of her music. But Apple continued creating, and her songs have long since outlasted any passing controversies.

Liam Gallagher and his brother, Noel Gallagher, have publicly clashed for practically all the years they were in Oasis. They bickered onstage and in front of fans, with their disagreements sometimes turning violent. When they both signed the same poster, Liam flung a chair at his brother in anger.
Liam Gallagher threw a chair at his brother over a poster
In 1994, Oasis had the fastest-selling debut album in U.K. history. By 1995, they were poised to make names for themselves in the United States. Despite their success, they couldn’t stop arguing. Liam said this was just the way their relationship functioned.

Oasis brothers Noel and Liam Gallagher could reportedly see their much trumpeted musical reunion brought to screen via documentary.
The UK’s Sun newspaper reports that Apple TV+ bosses are keen to film the previously warring brothers who have put their 15-year animosity to bed for a string of record-breaking gigs in the UK next summer.
A documentary about Oasis would follow in the footsteps of Apple’s award-winning documentary Get Back, about the making of the Beatles’ 1970 Let It Be.
The Sun quotes one insider revealing that Apple faces competition from both Amazon Prime and Netflix, but remains determined to bag the brothers’ behind-the-scenes antics in the lead up to the concerts: “This is set to be the film of the decade, with AppleTV+ proposing huge money.”

Oasis officially announced their long-awaited reunion in August, and ever since, it seems as if every bloke this side of Manchester has caught Oasis fever — everyone, that is, except for select members of Fontaines D.C., who expressed disinterest in the whole affair.
