M.C. Gainey was born on 18 January 1948 in Jackson, Mississippi, USA. He is an actor and producer, known for Con Air (1997), Club Dread (2004) and Wild Hogs (2007). He has been married to Kim since 2 May 2002.
Due to his interest in acting, he attained an extra role in the Charles Bronson vehicle Hard Times (1975). There he met veteran character actor Strother Martin, who became a mentor for Gainey.
