Françoise Forton grew up in Brasília, DF. In the early '60s, she studied at Dulcina de Moraes Theatre School, and was the first actress from Brasília to achieve the global circuit of Television and Cinema in Brazil.

She started her actress career in the film Marcelo Zona Sul (1970), at the age of twelve. Former partner is the actor Stepan Nercessian.

She had a son named Guilherme.
