The second part of the interview The Gaming Liberty did with Bear McCreary has been posted (hit the link for the whole thing). No updates on Blood and Chrome after all. Here are a couple of quotes about Caprica & BSG (note - he is working on an *extended* Caprica soundtrack):
Retroplayer - So with Caprica being cancelled without the chance of a second series and BSG over are you proud of the work you did on them overall? How do you feel looking back?

"Men Who Stare at Goats," the new George Clooney and Ewan McGregor film about psychic soldiers, kicked off a flurry of commentary on Twitter this week, and at least one producer out there loves Jeff Bridges' role.
There's been a lot of real-life drama sweeping through the Twitter-Wood feed as well this week, including Ted Kennedy's death and memorial service and the wildfires in Los Angeles that have forced thousands of residents out of their upscale L.A. neighborhoods. Shannon Elizabeth caught a shot of the fires from her living room window, which you can find below. It's all there along with Miley Cyrus and a factoid you likely never knew about Clive Barker in the Twitter-Wood report for August 28, 2009.
Twitter Pic of the Day:

Sad
The franchise is tired. One could say that the franchise was stale the moment Final Destination was released waaay back in 2000 and introduced the world to Kerr Smith. Not me. I wouldn’t say that. However, here’s what I would say about the latest installment of the “I’m going to escape death” series: I’m looking forward to seeing the carnage in 3D.
There, I said it.
Check out the clip from The Final Destination where Andrew Fiscella exposes his bravado.
The film stars Krista Allen, Shantel VanSanten and Bobby Campo.
The mayhem hits your multiplex on August 28, 2009.

Ugo recently debuted the first one sheet poster for “The Final Destination”, which is the latest chapter in the “Final Destination” franchise, which is known for it’s elaborate and high octane “kill” sequences. Some of which are innovative and fascinating, others of which are not. Generally, the problem with these films is the space between each sequence, but in all fairness they are not that bad, and I quite enjoyed the first two films. Check out the poster and a youtube video below of the 10 “best” deaths in the series so far

It has been a long three years since the last installment of death-porn franchise Final Destination, but the fourth film is on its way, and there is a brand new poster to prove it.Originally called the rather clunky Final Destination 4: Death Trip 3D, The Final Destination as it is now named (obviously not to be confused with plain old Final Destination) will provide extra jumps as it makes the move to a three dimensional fully immersive fright fest. Featuring a roll-call of expendable TV teen talent including Bobby Campo, Shantel VanSanten, Krista Allen, Haley Webb, Nick Zano, Andrew Fiscella, the film also stars Bubba from Forest Gump, Mykelti Williamson and Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles' Richard T. Jones . Taking on directing duties once again is Final Destination 2's stuntman-turned-helmsman David R. Ellis.Click the image above for a hi-res version Set against the backdrop of Nascar racing,...

“Final Destination 4: Road Trip” (or as it’s now officially known according to the film’s first official poster, “The Final Destination”) is one of those movies that critics will love and pick apart from end to end, and it’ll never get more than middling scores from reviewers who uses that old ratings system, but you know what? It’ll still make bank at the box office because kids can’t get enough of watching other kids trying to cheat death and losing. There’s just something fun about watching them try oh so very hard, the suckers. After a teen’s premonition of a deadly race-car crash helps saves the lives of his peers, Death sets out to collect those who evaded their end. Starring Shantel VanSanten, Bobby Campo, Haley Webb, Nick Zano, Krista Allen, Andrew Fiscella, Richard T. Jones, Mykelti Williamson, and directed by David R. Ellis.
