Szergej Elisztratov

He was born in the Soviet Union as a son of a Hungarian woman and a
Russian man. He was 4 when his parents divorced. He and his mother
moved back to Hungary. For 8 years (1967-74) he lived in a
boarding-school, because his mother had to work in three shifts.
Well-known TV director Ilona Katkics discovered his talent, and gave him the
lead role in "Kincskeresõ kisködmön" (1968). After the first success,
he became one of the most well-known child actors of the '70s in
Hungary.
