- Birth nameJeraldine Matilda Dvorak
- Geraldine Dvorak was born on January 1, 1904 in Texas, USA. She was an actress, known for No Limit (1931), The Story of Mr. Hobbs (1947) and Armstrong Circle Theatre (1950). She died on April 25, 1985 in Orange County, California, USA.
- Bit-part actress, used by Irving Thalberg as a stand-in for Greta Garbo (at a time, when the star may or may not have been pregnant and was likely to be, at least temporarily, unavailable) for long-shots and at costume fittings. Apparently, Dvorak not only possessed Garbo's exact physical dimensions (height, weight, shape), but was also able to walk and talk (affecting a fake Swedish accent) exactly like Garbo.
