Jochen Diestelmann was born on 3 June 1922 in Darmstadt, Germany. He was an actor and assistant director, known for The Immortals (1974), Das unsichtbare Visier (1973) and Die schwarze Galeere (1962). He was married to Hildegard Diestelmann. He died on 20 January 1983 in East Berlin, East Germany.
