Netflix has released the trailer for upcoming series Glamorous, out June 22, which sees Kim Cattrall take on the role of Madelyn Addison, a “supermodel of the world”-turned makeup business mogul who hires a young queer person obsessed with makeup. Think The Devil Wears Prada but makeup instead of fashion.
The trailer follows the life of Marco Mejía — a gender non-conforming queer person played by Miss Benny — after he meets Addison at his department store makeup job. (Think Macy’s.)

The beauty industry isn’t all glitz and glitter in the Netflix dramedy, Glamorous.
The streamer released a trailer on Monday for the upcoming series, which debuts on Thursday, June 22. In it, Sex and the City‘s Kim Cattrall plays supermodel-turned-ceo Madolyn Addison, who takes a chance on a young gender non-conforming queer man, Marco Mejia (played by Love, Victor‘s Miss Benny), whose life seems to be stuck in place. While Marco appears to be fumbling his way toward success, some close to Madolyn worry he’s bad for the company’s image.

‘Glamorous’ Trailer: Kim Cattrall Gets Her ‘Devil Wears Prada’ Moment in Netflix Queer Comedy Series
Netflix’s upcoming series “Glamorous” is like “The Devil Wears Prada” if Meryl Streep were replaced by “Sex and the City’s” Kim Cattrall and instead of Anne Hathaway, she hired drag queens and non-binary actor Miss Benny to work for her. The 10-episode LGBTQ comedy series premieres June 22 on the streamer.
“Glamorous” follows baby-faced new hire Marco Mejia (Miss Benny), a young, queer man who lands a job for the legendary CEO Madolyn Addison (Cattrall). Madolyn’s makeup line, Glamorous Cosmetics, is plummeting. Suspecting her business is being sabotaged by someone on the inside, she hires Marco to sleuth around.
“She wants him to be her eyes and ears, to make friends — and find out what’s going on behind her back, to discover what they’re hiding and what they’re stealing. In exchange, she’ll teach Marco everything she knows – but she warns him, ‘This business isn’t all glitter and glamour,...

The upcoming Netflix comedy tells the story of Marco Mejia (Miss Benny), a young gender non-conforming queer man whose life seems to be stuck in place until he lands a job working for legendary makeup mogul Madolyn Addison (Kim Cattrall).
The job provides Marco with his first real chance to figure out what he wants out of life, who he actually is, and what it really means for him to be queer — while also helping Madolyn rejuvenate her iconic but now-stale beauty brand.

Jag casts a huge shadow.
The fabled military drama has been gone almost 15 years and yet it lingers in viewers' memories.
Aj Chegwidden has already recurred on NCIS: Los Angeles and Harm and Mac set to return on that same series.
Stepping out of the shadow of Jag is what The Code was up against. Yet it made big strides on The Code Season 1 Episode 1.
Granted, there are certain similarities between The Code and Jag, beyond the courtroom battles.
Related: The Code Sneak Peak
Let's start the male lead character. Jag was supposed to be a cross between Top Gun and A Few Good Men, and Harman Rabb was the Tom Cruise character, a pilot turned lawyer, who was also missing his father.
Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, right?
Luke Mitchell (Blindspot) ably stepped into the role of pretty-boy lawyer.
His Captain John "Abe" Abraham is a Marine legacy.

Christmas + romance + cute puppies = A recipe for ratings success at Hallmark. The network known for its sappy made-for-tv movies hit it big over the Thanksgiving weekend with five nights of ratings gifts — making for its biggest week in network history. Among total viewers in cable, only “The Walking Dead” (and its companion “Talking Dead”) and NFL football did better than Hallmark’s Friday, Saturday, and Sunday movies.
The film “Switched for Christmas,” starring Candace Cameron Bure as identical twin sisters who swap lives for the holiday, became the most-watched telecast in Hallmark Channel history on Sunday night. The film averaged 5.8 million viewers after three days of DVR and video on demand usage. Mark Deklin, Eion Bailey, and Happy the Dog — see, it ticked all the Hallmark boxes — also starred.
Close behind, Saturday’s “Hallmark Hall of Fame” presentation, “The Christmas Train,” averaged 5.6 million viewers — beating the four broadcast networks on the night.

It appears that there's still a lot of dirty laundry. Lifetime has renewed their Devious Maids TV show for a third season. The 13 new episodes will debut sometime next year.
Devious Maids revolves around a group of Latina maids who work in the Beverly Hills homes of wealthy and powerful families. The large cast includes Ana Ortiz, Dania Ramirez, Roselyn Sánchez, Judy Reyes, Edy Ganem, Susan Lucci, Rebecca Wisocky, Tom Irwin, Grant Show, Drew Van Acker, Mariana Klaveno, Brianna Brown, Brett Cullen, Wolé Parks, Mark Deklin, Joanna P. Adler, Colin Woodell, and Dominic Adams.
The second season of Devious Maids concluded in late July and averaged 1.81 million viewers each week. That was down by 29% compared to the first season. It's still the cable channel's highest-rated scripted series. The Lottery draws about half that size audience and it looks likely to be...

Despite the seismic critical and commercial failure of Disney's John Carter, Hollywood hasn't been deterred from diving back into the Edgar Rice Burroughs literary archives for feature film material. Tarzan, an animated adventure arriving ahead of Warner Bros's Alexander Skarsgård-led blockbuster, will hope to fare better than the Mars-marooned Civil War veteran did in 2012.
Heroes are in vogue on the big screen right now, whether they're clad in superhero spandex or a loincloth - and Tarzan certainly has a sturdier cinematic history than John Carter, even if he did have to suffer through Phil Collins's caterwauling.
Fortunately this German-produced take on the story doesn't have the ex-Genesis man to contend with, but it does suffer from a thrifty corner-cutting...

It was over a year ago that we saw the first posters for the latest incarnation of Tarzan. This time we get to see a film both in 3D and shot completely using motion capture (the same effect that was achieved to create films like Avatar).
The latest iteration of Edgar Rice Burroughs’ classic story will be arriving on the big screen next summer, this time under the direction of Reinhard Klooss (Animals United). Kellan Lutz (Twilight, Immortals) leads the motion-capture cast, alongside Spencer Locke (Resident Evil: Afterlife) as Jane, and Jaime Ray Newman (A Town Called Eureka), Robert Capron (Diary of a Wimpy Kid), Mark Deklin (Gcb), and Trevor St. John (One Life to Live).
Klooss is directing from a script he co-wrote with Jessica Postigo (The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones) and Yoni Brenner (Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs).

Castle's loft was overflowing with women when both his girlfriend and his ex-wife moved in on "Significant Others." Awkward! And, as Darby Stanchfield warned us earlier, Meredith brought with her lots of naughty fun.
But how will the deep fried Twinkie's visit affect Rick and Kate's future? Our Castle Round Table team of TV Fanatic writers Jim Garner and Christine Orlando are joined by Castle fan Ginger from The 12th Fan Forum to debate the damage done by exes on the latest installment of this ABC hit.

1. What was your favorite scene?
Jim: I loved Meredith and Kate walking in and freaking Rick out. I'm not sure I want to be in that situation... Ever.
Carla: I wish I could say something different than Jim, but Meredith and Kate walking in and fooling Castle was hilarious. It's not often that he gets punked like that, so that was a stand out moment.

Castle is preparing itself for one stressful episode that will focus on divorce, giving the episode a very War of the Roses feel. With all the drama and theatrics that usually surround particularly scandalous divorce proceedings – not to mention the death threats – it would seem like the perfect storm for a murder. The episode, titled “Significant Others,” will require some heavy hitters to pull off so much melodrama, so who better than a few soap opera veterans, well versed in the language of over-the-top-acting, which is exactly what you need to do if you hope to win a judge in your favor so you can get a hold of your former spouse’s priceless collection of Russian nesting dolls.
