- He was six years old when he made his debut on stage in Eduardo Scarpetta's comedy 'Miseria e nobiltà'. In a scene of the comedy, all characters eat a huge plate of pastasciutta. - He was married, from 1937 till his death, to actress Anna Campori.
- He played the stuttering boatswain Nicolino in the serial 'Giovanna, la nonna del Corsaro nero' (1961), one of the first huge hits in the history of Italian television.
