Roy Dean(1925-2002)

Multi-talented as a sportsman, stage designer, director, writer, actor
and photographer. Dean made his stage debut while in his teens. A
writer of short stories and TV dramas, he also designed a London
production of Ibsen's "Master Builder" and appeared with great success
on the New York stage with Orson Welles in "King Lear". As an athlete,
he holds several track and swimming titles and was at one time the
British hurdling champion. As a photographer, his work has been shown
in several exhibitions and numerous magazines.
