Granddaughter of the poet Vinicius de Moraes. Her father,
'Pedro de
Moraes', is a photographer and
her mother, Vera Barreto Leite, an
actress. Supervised by her famous grandfather, she started singing in
her childhood. At the age of 8, she acted in her first movie. She lived
in Paris at the end of the 1970s and was involved in shows like
Pastoral (Brazilian folclore) and Parceirinha by Vinicius de Moraes.
Back in Brazil, she continued acting in movies and TV shows (for BBC);
she studied singing, viola and piano. As a famous Bossa Nova singer,
she frequently gives international concerts and has produced 3 CDs.
Additionally, she works as a theater actress for José Celso Martinez
Corrêa of the famous Teatro Oficina in São Paulo. She appeared in
Teatro Oficina's Bacantes (also on DVD) and in Os Sertões, a five
evening-long multi-media spectacle.
