Tom Davies(II)

Tom Davies was born in Evanston Illinois. He graduated from Maine East High School in Park Ridge Illinois where he played football very poorly. He went to to the University of Illinois and then moved to Arizona. There he graduated from ASU. While a student he worked at the PBS station which sparked a latent interest in films. Upon graduation he drove to LA in his Chevy Vega which burned a piston upon arrival. His degree qualified him to drive cab in Hollywood. Somehow he wedged his way into the industry with a gofer job at Alan Landsberg Productions. He began as a PA on TV movies and mini-series there, and eventually joined the DGA as a second AD. He has worked as an AD continuously since then. He is a lifelong gear-head, and loves cars despite the bad experience with the Chevy Vega, and has raced sports cars and restored cars all his adult life. He has lived in LA and in Vancouver B.C. and is a proud citizen of both the U.S and Canada.
