If you thought getting an acting job on a film like The Amazing Spider-Man 2 was hard enough, try attempting to become one of the many stunt professionals involved in the production. Bj Davis bent over backwards to get the gig, and now he.s suing because of a particularly brutal clothesline . and the supposed malice hiding behind it. The Hollywood Reporter picked up on the story of Davis. lawsuit against Sony Pictures, as well as the producers of the 2014 film, that has caused Sony enough headaches that they eventually decided to share the character with Marvel Studios. What they won.t be sharing though is the alleged mistreatment of Mr. Davis, who claims that every step of the way he.s been discriminated against due to his age. At the time of production, Bj Davis was 61 and a Los Angeles resident. But by time The Amazing Spider-Man 2 was...

Veteran stuntman Bj Davis has sued the stunt coordinator of The Amazing Spider-Man 2 — along with Sony Pictures, Marvel and others — for age discrimination, claiming that he "made no secret of the fact that he felt plaintiff was too old to work as a stunt man." The case, his suit states, "represents a particularly violent instance of age discrimination and exposes the pervasive problem of age discrimination in the stunt industry." Columbia Pictures, Avi Arad Productions…...

Age-discrimination lawsuits are not uncommon in Hollywood. What’s unusual about the one Bj Davis filed Thursday is the allegation that a co-worker tackled him with Davis’ age in mind. Davis now is 63, he said, and worked in stunts from 1978 until 2013. In the latter year, he said, mistreatment on the set of Sony’s The Amazing Spider-Man 2 ended his career. First, he said, he nearly couldn’t get work on the superhero sequel, despite his formidable career (he holds world records for helicopter stunts, he said). He alleged that stunt coordinator James Armstrong of Armstrong Action

Multiple movies have been made about the disasters of September 11, 2001, most notably United 93 and World Trade Center, but so far the emphasis has been more on the actual events of the day as opposed to the aftermath. Fleur De Lis Film Studios is looking to break from that mould though with their upcoming film September Morn.
The Howard Cohen script is described as in the vein of 12 Angry Men, and will be directed by Bj Davis. We’ve included a further description of the film below.
September Morn will provide an insight into the findings of the 9/11 Commission, intertwined with provocative perspectives of expert architects and scientists, CIA and Department of Defense officials, Department of Homeland Security officials and concerned American citizens.
The Fleur De Lis site also claims that the film is supported by “numerous organizations, groups, associations, celebrities, government whistleblowers and transparency advocates.”

Film's advance publicity says: 'We the people demand an independent investigation into the tragic events of 9/11'
Hollywood is to court controversy with a film that will challenge the official version of the events of 9/11, a previously taboo topic for the industry mainstream. Martin Sheen, Woody Harrelson and Ed Asner, who have all supported conspiracy theories about the terrorist attacks, have signed up to the movie, which is entitled September Morn.
Styling itself as a drama in the tradition of Twelve Angry Men, the film's advance publicity note hints at a cover-up, saying: "We the people demand that the government revisit and initiates a thorough and independent investigation to the tragic events of 911."
Details of the film, which is to be directed by Bj Davis and written by Howard Cohen, are expected to be revealed at an American Film Market conference in Los Angeles next week, Deadline.com reported.

The 11th anniversary of the historical 9/11 attacks just passed last month, and over a decade later yet another feature film about the tragedy is in the works. But this will be a bit different, as it won't detail the specific events of that day like Paul Greengrass' United 93 or Oliver Stone's World Trade Center. Fleur De Lis Film Studios (via The Film Stage) has announced they've secured Woody Harrelson, Martin Sheen, and Ed Asner to star in September Morn, a story that deals with the findings of the 9/11 Commission. However, the film is being sold at the American Film Market, so we may never hear of it again. More below! Bj Davis is set to direct a script by rookie screenwriter Howard Cohen. According to the official synopsis, the movie aims to "provide an insight into the findings of the 9/11 Commission, intertwined with provocative perspectives of expert...

So, one of America's most defining moments in contemporary history is being put in the hands of the guy who directed "Charlie Sheen's Stunt Spectacular" and Brandon Lee's "Laser Mission." And no, we're not cherry picking out of the CV (or IMDb page) of Bj Davis -- those really are some of the "highlights," as it were, from the stuntman/stunt coodinator/director's resume. Now it looks like he's putting his tinfoil hat on. Davis is set to direct "September Morn" a 9/11 movie that will feature an ensemble led by Woody Harrelson and Martin Sheen (not bad) and nicely rounded out by Ed Asner, John Heard, Esai Morales, Daniel Sunjata and Judd Nelson. Penned by Howard Cohen, the movie will follow a group of folks who revisit and question the independent investigation into 9/11. We really hope this isn't going to be some kind of door opening onto the...
