At the beginning of 2024, Katt Williams made an appearance on Shannon Sharpe’s Club Shay Shay podcast. He sat for a bombshell interview in which he called out several of his fellow comedians along with making several other claims. And they have continued to be a topic of conversation throughout the year.

Sean “Diddy” Combs founded Bad Boy Records in 1993. He helped lift a number of artists to success, but some grew to resent them because of their publishing deals. Several artists complained about the unfairness of their contracts. Rapper Mase was so frustrated that he confronted Diddy during a radio interview and asked to be let out of his contract. He was shocked when Diddy complied, noting that he rarely saw him do good things.

Rapper 50 Cent is unapologetic about his long-standing criticism of Sean “Diddy” Combs, especially following the mogul’s recent arrest on charges related to sex trafficking and racketeering.
In an exclusive interview with People, 50 Cent, whose real name is Curtis Jackson, stated, “It seems like I’m doing some extremely outrageous things, but I haven’t. It’s really me just saying what I’ve been saying for 10 years.” This commentary comes in the wake of Diddy’s legal issues, which include allegations of sexual misconduct and exploitation.
Visiting The Rivalry Between 50 Cent and ‘Diddy’ Combs
The rivalry between the two has been well-documented since it ignited in 2006 when 50 Cent released his diss track “The Bomb.” In this track, he controversially suggested that Diddy might have connections to the murder of Notorious B.I.G. in 1997, a claim that Diddy has consistently denied.

Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs helped catapult Notorious B.I.G. to superstardom while claiming he formed a familial bond with the rapper before his death. However, after Biggie Smalls died, the rapper’s mother didn’t appreciate how Diddy treated her son’s legacy. So much so she was a bit relieved Smalls never got to see the real Diddy.

Although Diddy helped Biggie Smalls break into the music industry, some questioned how the music mogul treated his protégé. Rap artist Mark Curry claimed Smalls was essentially broke after signing to Bad Boy Records because of Diddy’s business tactics. But Smalls’ mom Wallace seemed to think the disrespect came after her son’s death. Wallace felt Diddy excessively used the rapper’s name to profit off him instead of genuinely honoring his legacy.

Sean “Diddy” Combs signed Christopher Wallace — also known as the Notorious B.I.G. or Biggie — in the first year of his record label, Bad Boy. The pair continued to work together up until Biggie’s death in 1997. Two decades after the rapper’s murder, Diddy admitted he felt a level of responsibility for his death. He shared what he wished he could have changed.

When Christopher Wallace — also known as the Notorious B.I.G. or Biggie — signed to Bad Boy Records, he helped Sean “Diddy” Combs’ new label rise. He was an incredibly successful and influential artist and he began raking in money for the label. According to some sources, though, he wasn’t making nearly as much as he could have been. Diddy held his publishing rights and refused to give them up.

Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson’s outsized beef with his rap game rival is leaping to streaming giant Netflix, who has won a bidding war, according to Jackson, for a docuseries his company produced on beleaguered rapper-mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs.

Isaac Gale and Ryan Olson’s Swamp Dogg Gets His Pool Painted isn’t the sort of “important” documentary that generally wins awards, but it’s a fine example of something even rarer: a documentary that draws its voice and aesthetic from the spirit of its subject, resulting in a tight 97 minutes that feel organic and satisfying and, as befits that subject, appealingly odd.
When it comes to Swamp Dogg, I’m not sure if there’s a middle ground between “Who?!?” and “Swamp Dogg is the Best!!!” though perhaps Swamp Dogg Gets His Pool Painted will create an appreciative warmth in that space.
Swamp Dogg has acquired his position as a musical cult icon by virtue of an astonishing adjacency to fame that dates back to his first recorded song in 1954. In the subsequent 70 years, he’s been signed to, recorded for, and even been an executive at possibly dozens of labels.

Listening to three hours of Katt Williams can’t be easy, but some sound bites from a recent interview have made the waves, triggering a response from his targets, including Ice Cube, Kevin Hart and Cedric the Entertainer.
In Katt Williams’ viral interview on the Club Shay Shay podcast, the comedian targeted the aforementioned comedians with various claims. The most damning is that Williams maintains that his Friday After Next character, Money Mike (a pimp…), was originally supposed to be raped, which he insisted on cutting. Ice Cube, who produced, wrote and starred in the movie, had a different recollection, saying Williams didn’t have as much influence as he remembered. “We do what we feel…and if it was a rape scene it woulda been in the movie. There was no reason not to shoot it. But that’s not my style. I don’t even like that kind of sh*t in movies.

Paul Kovacich was found guilty of murdering his wife, Janet Kovacich. Pic credit: CA Dept. of Corrections
Deadly Sins: No Forgiveness is investigating the murder of Janet Kovacich, who was killed by her husband in Placer County, California, in 1982.
Paul had been a Placer County Sheriff’s Deputy, and the young couple lived with their two children in Auburn, CA. The investigators would later learn that Janet had been trapped in an abusive and controlling marriage.
The police believe that Paul murdered his wife because she had wanted to leave him. Janet disappeared on September 8, 1982, but unfortunately, it took over 25 years for Paul to be brought to justice.
Janet’s whereabouts remained unknown until 1995 when part of her skull was found in nearby Lake Rollins with an obvious bullet hole. It took ten years to identify the skull, at which point Paul was placed in custody.
The pathologists concluded that...

Sports stories have traditionally belonged to the movies. Something about the rhythms of competition, in which an athlete or team trains, plays, and then either wins or loses, is a natural fit for the film world’s three act structure.
Television, with its multiple episodes and seasons, is often more discursive and therefore less viable for truly great sports stories. Thankfully, that all seems poised to change. While some sports TV shows have found success in the past, now the medium has really kicked things up a notch. Sports stories like Brockmire, Ted Lasso, Cobra Kai, and more are not only welcome on television, but an essential part of the cable and streaming landscape.

The audience of “The Masked Singer” may have had their say, but our Derbyites are determined to have their voices heard about what went down on the Season 3 finale. They voted in our poll and a surprising 57% of our readers say the coveted Golden Mask should have gone to pop star Jesse McCartney, who competed as the Turtle. That’s over 20 points more than those who thought Kandi Burruss (Night Angel) was rightfully crowned the winner, which totaled 35% of our respondents. Only 8% believed that the trophy should have gone to Bow Wow (Frog). Do you agree with our readers that McCartney was robbed? Be sure to let us know in the comments below.
