Despite being a Hollywood staple during the late ’90s and early 2000s, The Mummy star Brendan Fraser surprisingly disappeared from the spotlight after 2008. While people speculated drugs, a s*x-scandal, illness, and even a poor career graph as the reason behind his exit, Fraser recently revealed the real reason behind leaving Hollywood.

After years of remaining out of the spotlight, when Brendan Fraser made his comeback with the 2022 Oscar-winning movie The Whale, the actor attributed his Hollywood exit to s*xual harassment. “Who Wants to Be a Millionaire” premiered on ABC on August 16, 1999. Hosted by Regis Philbin, the game show was originally just going to be a two-week event, but its popularity prompted another two-week special in November. Wanting to keep the excitement going, ABC commissioned “Who Wants to Be a Millionaire” as a regular series beginning on January 18, 2000. At the time of the series’ end on June 27, 2002, the show had awarded nine savvy people with the $1 million prize.
New life was given to “Millionaire” when it was produced for syndication and a daily version aired on September 16, 2002, hosted by Meredith Vieira. Another three lucky contestants took home a million dollars during the syndicated version of the show. “Who Wants to Be a Millionaire” has seen a variety of hosts over the years including Cedric the Entertainer, Terry Crews, and Chris Harrison.
An all-celebrity edition premiered in April 2020 with Jimmy Kimmel at the helm.

In this week's installment of "What people choose to watch on streamers will never make sense," the aughts comedy "Norbit" is somehow one of the most-watched movies on Amazon's Prime Video. This exceedingly random news comes courtesy of viewership data site FlixPatrol, which as of publication time has the widely panned Eddie Murphy vehicle hovering at number five on its list of the 10 most-watched Prime Video movies in North America. Sure, why not?
To be fair to "Norbit," subscribers seem to be having an odd week in general, with Adam Sandler's "The Longest Yard" also making the list and two Christmas films, "Almost Christmas" and "The Holiday," already entering Prime Video's upper echelons. Still, it's remarkable to see that more people are reportedly watching "Norbit" than are watching newer Prime Video originals, like the Peter Dinklage and Josh Brolin-led action comedy "Brothers" (currently number seven on the streaming...

5 Dream Guest Stars Who Need to Appear on Abbott Elementary - Main Image
Like any successful sitcom, Abbott Elementary on ABC has managed to bring in some amazing guest stars. Sometimes they’re just one-time appearances like Bradley Cooper or Kevin Hart, but other times they have pretty significant roles in the season like Leslie Odom Jr. (Hamilton) playing one of Barbara’s old students who was a liason for Legendary Schools.
With the series now in its fourth season, here’s a wish list of some actors that should definitely show up in the series and make for some fun banter with the kooky faculty of Abbott.
Terry Crews
Before he was in Abbott Elementary as the over-serious teacher Gregory Eddie, Tyler James Williams was a child actor in Everybody Hates Chris, a sitcom about the rough upbringing of comedian Chris Rock.

Deadpool & Wolverine director Shawn Levy was celebrated on Thursday not for having one of the biggest movies of the year, but for his philanthropy alongside wife Serena.
The couple were honored at the A Sense of Home Gala, benefitting the non-profit that aims to prevent homelessness by creating first-ever homes and a community for youth aging out of foster care. Ted Sarandos and Nicole Avant hosted the event at their Los Angeles home, with a guest list that included Jason Bateman, Tobey Maguire, Edward Norton, Michelle Rodriguez, Terry Crews, Emile Hirsch, Scott Stuber and Molly Sims, Mayor Karen Bass and L.A. County Supervisor Holly Mitchell.
“We both got interested in the work that was being done when we started thinking about the connection between aged-out foster youth and homelessness in this city — a complicated problem with a seemingly simple answer,” Sarandos said of himself and Avant during the event.

Hollywood has never been more affiliated with freedom since the days of its conception. Be it television Westerns, comic book adaptations, or tear-jerking biopics, fans and critics have elevated the status of the entertainment industry into a level playing field where films like Black Panther: Wakanda Forever get as much celebrated and tastefully made as any other award-worthy project.

Sylvester Stallone’s Expendables franchise was initially rated R, much like many Stallone action films were in the past. Expendables 2 also maintained the same rating from the first. However, when Expendables 3 came along, Stallone felt it was time for a change.
Why ‘Expendables 3’ ended up being rated PG-13 Sylvester Stallone | Charley Gallay/Getty Images
Stallone sought to bring together a mixture of classic and contemporary action stars with his Expendables franchise. As such, the movie would feature actors like Dolph Lundgren, Jason Statham, Wesley Snipes, Arnold Schwarzenegger, and other actors known for their physicality. In keeping line with 80s action movies, the first two Expendables movies were rated R. Although both films performed decently enough at the box office, Stallone decided to go PG-13 for Expendables 3.
A lot of factors went into his decision. Stallone saw how some of the more modern action movies were able to...

Are you looking for a film you can watch countless times and always find something new to enjoy, as if it’s the first time? Are you searching for a movie that delivers a life-changing message? Well, keep searching, because “The Killer’s Game” won’t change your life, nor does it contain any profound message. Both judges and viewers of America’s Got Talent warmly embraced singer Richard Goodall from the moment he first stepped onto the AGT stage and earned a Golden Buzzer from Heidi Klum. Even before host Terry Crews announced Goodall as AGT Season 19’s winner, the former “singing janitor” was already a champion. Not only was he the sentimental favorite throughout the season, but Goodall wed girlfriend Angie Vanoven the week leading up to the finale taping. When it came to performing in tonight’s finale with rock band Journey, Goodall tells TV Insider, “There’s [stuff on your] bucket list and then, there’s ‘top shelf bucket lists.’ You can’t even remotely think that something like this was ever going to happen.” Throughout the course of the season, Goodall, who performed soulful renditions of “How Am I Supposed to Live Without You,” “Eye of the Tiger,” and “Faithfully,” never lost his humility or sense of gratitude.

Singing janitor Richard Goodall cleaned up the competition on NBC’s “America’s Got Talent” Season 19 and won the top prize of $1 million during the grand finale on Tuesday, September 24. So what was going through his mind when “AGT” host Terry Crews announced him as the winner? “I go into every single section of the show with no expectations, and so when he called my name, I was just flabbergasted,” Richard reveals in Gold Derby’s exclusive video interview (watch above).
“It’s not very often that I’m speechless,” he continues on. “Not just with winning the show, but I sang with Journey on the show, so pinch me! You have bucket lists and then you have bucket lists that you didn’t know existed. All of it is very, very surreal to me.”
Heading into finale night, Richard readily admits that he was “trying not to think about” the ultimate outcome.

September has been a big month for Terry Crews, who this year marks 25 years in Hollywood, having gotten his start on the American Gladiators-style competition show Battle Dome in 1999. The role of T-Money perfectly aligned with the America’s Got Talent (AGT) host’s dream of one day being an action movie star, a goal which was once again realized with his part in longtime friend Dave Bautista’s action-comedy The Killer’s Game.
Crews stars as assassin Creighton Lovedahl in the J.J. Perry-directed film that released on Sept. 13 — Crews and Perry previously worked together on 2014’s The Expendables 3. Based on the 1997 novel of the same name by Jay Bonansinga, The Killer’s Game centers on a veteran assassin (Bautista) trying to outlive a hit he put out on himself after learning he incorrectly received a terminal diagnosis. Growing up is tough, especially during your teenage years. Your teens are an era when no one understands you; everyone thinks you’re overreacting, and hormones rage inside your nether region like a mosh pit of questions and embarrassing blunders. I grew up in New York, so I know what walking the Bed-Stuy streets is like while hoping to discover who you are. In Comedy Central‘s Everybody Still Hates Chris trailer, we join Chris Rock for a hilarious look at his awkward teens and all the confusion that helped shape one of the most recognized comedians in the game.
