There is a new crime thriller developing from production company Imagination Worldwide. The title of the film is Secrets from the Past and the film follows a young woman, who leads a double life. After witnessing the murder of a friend by a "crime syndicate" (Imagination), Kate (Ashley Jones) goes into hiding to protect herself. The tagline promises some excitement as now: "it is time to tell the truth" (Imagination). Secrets from the Past stars Antonio Sabato Jr. (Drifter: Henry Lee Lucas) Michael Woods, Nicole deBoer, and Al Sapienza. More of the mystery is revealed below.

Imagination Worldwide has recently finished production on the sci-fi thriller Metal Tornado. The film brings the "destructive power" of magnetic tornadoes on Mercury to Earth. That is not a good idea. Soon, disaster strikes as the tornadoes gain energy and size, outside of the laboratory. A release date has not been announced, but fans of natural disaster thrillers can have a look at the early film art. Expect Metal Tornado on television soon, with more details on this production swirling below.

"When astronomers discovered the phenomena of magnetic tornadoes on the planet Mercury, they were amazed by the destructive power of these gargantuan solar-fueled magnetic fields…but they never imagined witnessing the catastrophic forces in their own backyards.

Samuel Planck is head of the Helios Project — a high tech facility tasked with storing and converting solar rays into an endless supply of renewable energy.

New York -- A family of serial killers has drawn "Twilight" star Ashley Greene into their web in the edgy indie thriller "Summer."

Stephen McHattie, Barbara Niven and Peter Mooney play the deranged kinfolk that Greene's character encounters on her quest to find the father she's never known.

Horror filmmaker Lee De Marbre is directing the tentatively titled film for producers Rob Menzies, Donald Osbourne and Curtis Crawford of Ottawa-based Zed Filmworks ("The Dead Sleep Easy"). Pierre David ("Internal Affairs") and Neil Bregman are executive producing from Sean Hogan and Christine Conradt's original screenplay.

The Innovative Artists/McKeon-Myones Entertainment-repped Greene next will be seen in December in the vampire thriller adaptation "Twilight" from Summit Entertainment. McHattie will be seen in another anticipated cult project, the Warner Bros. film "Watchmen." Mooney stars in the ABC Family series "Falcon Beach," and Niven has appeared in numerous telefilms.
