- Sally Colón-Petree is an award winning Puerto Rican Filmmaker from Chicago who relocated to Los Angeles in 1996 to pursue her career in the entertainment industry. Soon after arriving in LA, Sally was hired by MTV Networks as a contestant coordinator on Jenny McCarthy's "Singled Out". She then went on to pursue acting and was featured in several television shows, national commercials and hosted television for several years. In Early 2000 she was recruited into a Latin girl group that garnered huge success, signing a 1.3 million dollar record deal managed by Motown Executive, Suzanne DePasse.
In 2004, Sally launched Dream On Productions, a Los Angeles based production company. Her first project was the reality show, "Tour TV" which garnered her 2 Telly awards for producing and hosting, followed by several films & music videos.
In 2014, Sally made her directorial debut with her feature documentary, "Women Like Us", which has been screened in over 100 theaters across the country, garnering several awards on the film festival circuit, including Geena Davis' Bentonville Film Festival with 2 sold out screenings. WLU started conversations about gender equality, and empowerment for women, distributed by Gathr Films.
Sally has recently finished writing her first script based on a true story, "Shattered Glass House", set to go into production in November 2023. Sally is currently pitching 3 non-scripted shows. Sally is also the voice of "Vamp" in the new video game Crime Boss: Rockay City, staring Danny Glover, Vanilla Ice, Kim Basinger, Michael Madsen, Michael Rooker, Danny Trejo, Chuck Norris and more schedule to release on March 28th, 2023.
