General Hospital spoilers tease that Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) has been showing a side of himself that he had kept buried for the last several years.
As viewers may remember, when Valentin first showed up, he shot Nikolas Cassadine (Adam Huss) and Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom). His own mother, Helena Cassadine (Constance Towers) was terrified of him at one point. He also threw Ava Jerome (Maura West) off the parapet at Wyndemere.
Ava survived, and Valentin was seemingly given a wake-up call when it was revealed that his young daughter, Charlotte Cassadine (Scarlett Fernandez) has witnessed his assault on Ava.

Valentin swore to become a better father and it seemed for awhile he was doing just that. But it seems that Valentin hasn’t turned away from the darkness, he just got better at hiding it.

We think that the casting director on "Once Upon A Time" must possess magical powers, since the show has conjured up yet another ideal actor, this time to play Snow White's mother.
According to TV Guide, Rena Sofer will play Queen Eva, the mother of Ginnifer Goodwin's kick-ass princess. She'll be seen in flashbacks in at least one episode, alongside the equally perfect Bailee Madison (who plays young Snow), which is scheduled to air in early March.

Salma Hayek will return to "30 Rock." Details of her appearance are top secret, but the actress will appear in the hourlong series finale. She'll reprise the role of nurse Elisa, one of Jack's exes (Alec Baldwin) who murdered her unfaithful husband. {EW]

New York – It’s back to business for the NBA and its broadcast partners. The league’s players and owners salvaged a 66-game season via a tentative deal reached after a 15-hour negotiating session that stretched into the early hours of Nov. 26. And that means that ad dollars that had gone to male-skewing entertainment networks including Comedy Central, Adult Swim, MTV, Spike, Discovery and History, are reverting back to the NBA. “Marketers are happy. Buyers are happy. The people who are not too happy are those entertainment networks,” says Kevin Collins, senior vp, director at Initiative.

In Part One of our interview, Jon Lindstrom shared his musical roots with The High Lonesome, memories of playing Hollywood clubs in the 80s, as well as some of the struggles behind the scenes at Santa Barbara. In Part Two he reveals more anecdotes about Santa Barbara, and his process of playing tortured twins Ryan and Kevin on General Hospital. Which famous soap actor almost got the role instead of Lindstrom? Find out below!
We Love Soaps TV: From the viewer’s standpoint, the 1985-1986 season you were on Santa Barbara was such a treat.
Jon Lindstrom: It was a beautifully written and produced show. It was so well done. I’m happy for that. The work showed. It was hard work, and we all sweated bullets to make it happen.
We Love Soaps TV: Your character, Mark McCormick, was popular while being so very hated.
Jon Lindstrom: Everybody hated that guy.

When hearing the name "Jon Lindstrom," most soap fans immediately think of his critically acclaimed role as Craig Montgomery on As The World Turns, rational and tortured Kevin Collins on General Hospital and Port Charles, or even scary sociopath Mark McCormick on Santa Barbara. What most soap fans don't know is that this Emmy-nominated actor has been rocking out on his drums since age seven, and was an integral part of the Billboard chart-topping band The High Lonesome in the '80s and '90s. In this new interview, Lindstrom will trace the origins of his musical passion, as well as recollect some of his most memorable moments on his numerous shows.

Jon Lindstrom, best known for his work in daytime television, (as Craig Montgomery on As The World Turns, for which he received a 2010 Emmy Lead Actor nomination, and as Kevin Collins/Ryan Chamberlain in General Hospital), returns to the music scene with his band The High Lonesome and their new CD release, “Collector’s Album 1995-2010.”
In a nod to years past, the album offers a mix of new and newly re-mastered tunes from The High Lonesome’s first album “Feel Free to Do So” which was described by Billboard Magazine’s Larry Flick as a "blend of alterna-country/blues and rootsy pop/rock" and called the single “True Believer” a “Bouncy, roots-rockin’ ditty [that] seems custom-made for cranking at peak volume while cruisin’ down the highway with your best buddies.”

New York -- Despite a laggard economy and tepid ratings for the sport in 2009, advertisers have returned to Major League Baseball telecasts this season, and baseball's TV rights holders are close to selling out commercial time on their first few months of games, both at the national and local levels.
Fox is virtually sold out for April and May, buoyed by a doubling in automotive ad dollars and a 75% hike in financial advertising compared with this time last season for its Saturday afternoon games and two primetime contests. Turner has taken in 15%-20% more ad dollars than it did last year for its Sunday afternoon Mlb games.
Espn, which televises the most games nationally, also is pacing ahead of last year. Its telecast of the Home Run Derby the night before the All-Star Game is almost sold out. And Mlb Network, in its second year, added 30 new advertisers this season...

"CSI: Crime Scene Investigation" star Gerald McCullouch has been court-ordered to undergo counseling after New York City police caught him urinating in public last week. McCullouch left Manhattan nightspot Amnesia with his actor pal Keith Collins, but admits he was too inebriated to hold in a full bladder on the way home.
He tells the New York Daily News, "I'd had a little to drink. So, as I was coming down the West Side Highway, I asked my cab driver to pull over so I could relieve myself. Suddenly I was surrounded by three cop cars. I said, 'Officer, at least let me finish!' " Laughing off the incident, he adds, "But I actually learned something from the hour-long quality-of-life counseling the judge sentenced me to. Education is better than a fine."

CBS has sold 65% of the available commercial spots for next year's Super Bowl, according to sources, an impressive amount considering the still-dire economic circumstances. At this time last year, NBC had sold 85% of inventory, but CBS has had to battle the full force of the financial crisis that began a year ago.
CBS has sold about 40 of the 62 30-second spots on offer for Super Bowl Xliv sources said.
So far, prices for the Super Bowl, scheduled for Feb. 7 in Miami, are in the range of $2.7 million-$2.8 million per spot, which is flat to slightly lower than what NBC achieved for the 2009 telecast and flat to slightly higher than what Fox did for the 2008 game.
Last year, NBC averaged $2.8 million-$2.9 million per 30-second spot; some advertisers paid $3 million. In 2008, Fox averaged about $2.7 million for spots in the Super Bowl.
Sources at CBS said pricing for the 2010 game is "in line" with what NBC received last year.
