Jay Alan Christianson is an American actor from Blooming Prairie, MN, his 38th grandfather was the First King of Norway, Harald Fairhair, listed under the Royal Records in Oslo.
He holds a Bachelors's degree in Organizational Behavior from Concordia University in St. Paul, MN. Jay received his Screen Actors Guild card portraying Agent Jongsma, season 3, The Sopranos (2001), and his Equity card playing multiple characters in A.R. Gurney's The Dining Room (1998).
Jay is(May, 2024)filming Ryan Murphy's new series, Grotesquerie, with Niecy Nash and Travis Kelce in a recurring role as Stan. He can also be seen in Showtime's American Gigolo (2022) in the recurring role as Kevin Finnegan.
His film lead in Garrow (2018) received rave reviews and sold-out multiple theaters. Jay garnered accolades playing the 1960's and 70's serial killer Robert Francis Garrow alongside Philip Casanoff and Mark Valley. He can also be seen in Netflix's Roped and his acclaimed role as Dan, in Hooked on Amazon Prime. Television Guest-Star appearances include Law & Order SVU, Blackish, Without a Trace, Strong Medicine, and The Young & The Restless, to name a few.
