Sarah Charipar

Sarah Charipar was born in Rochester, New York, where she began her acting journey in a youth theatre program. She received her BA in Theatre, and minored in Women's Studies and Religious Studies, at The University of Toronto. She earned her MFA in acting at DePaul University, located in Chicago, where she now resides. Much of her early career was spent on various stages in the Chicago theatre scene, including works at the Goodman Theater and the Steppenwolf Theatre Company. Sarah appeared on Broadway in Steppenwolf's Tony award winning revival of One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, starring Gary Sinise. Sarah's television work includes The Bear, Ordinary Joe, Chicago Fire, Chicago Med, Empire, and Shameless, among others. Notably, Sarah earned her SAG-AFTRA card by playing the Madam of a brothel on an episode of Walker, Texas Ranger. She has also worked in both studio and independent film productions.
