Eugeniusz Cekalski was born on 30 December 1906 in Saratov, Russian Empire. He was a director and writer, known for Trzy etiudy Chopina (1937), Strachy (1938) and Dwie brygady (1950). He was married to Krystyna Swinarska. He died on 31 May 1952 in Prague, Czechoslovakia [now Czech Republic].
