Born in Ventura California on January 15th, 1957 Bruce is the youngest
son of Ben and Virginia Carson. Both his mother and father were
professional musicians with his father playing guitar and his mother
singing on radio and other bookings in Nashville, Tennessee. Bruce grew
up in Ventura, California and graduated from Ventura High School in
1975. He worked as a carpenter and cement finisher for many years while
going to acting school in Hollywood. While working on a show in Vasquez
Rocks he was picked out by the stunt coordinator who invited him to his
training camp in Castaic, California. After only a couple of months,
another stunt coordinator picked him out of the crowd to double Kevin
Blair from the series Rituals in his first film called "The Hills Have
Eyes Part 2". Bruce had not finished the film when he got the call to
double a new and up coming actor named Johnny Depp in Wes Craven's next
film, "A Nightmare on Elm Street". Since then Bruce has worked on many
films and television shows as an actor and stuntman.
