- Known as "Hubcap" and also "the semi-legendary almost King of Rock and Roll", Ken Carter was on the air in Texas Radio for 40 years at stations all across the state but after just a short time away from home, he always returned to the Dallas-Ft Worth area stations like KLIF and KNUS. He worked as News Director for Texas State Network, had a nationally syndicated "Oldies" show and hosted local Sock Hops for numerous worthy causes.
