Campbell's wife, Peggy, teaches at the Rolling Hills Country Day School, in Rolling Hills Estates, California. The couple has five children: daughter, Gabriella (born 2000), son, Nathan (born 2002), twins daughter, Madelyne Kay and son, Maxwell Elliot (born 2004) and daughter, Lydia (born 2007).
