Charlie Sheen Joining Walking Dead Season 2? Back in November, there were some rumors floating about the world wide web that former "Two and a Half Men" star Charlie Sheen would be making a guest appearance on the second season of AMC's surprise hit series "The Walking Dead." At the time, his contract with CBS wouldn't allow it. Now that the actor no longer has a job with CBS, "The Walking Dead" creator Robert Kirkman is practically begging Sheen to come a board. Robert Kirkman had this to say at the Paley Center on Friday: "Charlie call us, we will totally make that happen. We'll do whatever you want. We'll recast You as Rick. Andrew Lincoln will find something else to do. He can direct an episode. Actually he could play a car for all I care. You can’t turn a corner without hearing something new and outrageous from Charlie Sheen these days, but how about Sheen as a zombie? Would that suit your appetite? The Walking Dead creator, Robert Kirkman would love for Sheen to be in the second season of the hit AMC television adaptation of his graphic novel series.

Kirkman has an open invitation out to Sheen:

“Charlie call us, we will totally make that happen. We’ll do whatever you want.”

Unfortunately (or rather fortunately depending on your point of view), the lead role of Sheriff Rick Grimes in The Walking Dead belongs to Andrew Lincoln, but Kirkman is willing to entertain other options of Sheen’s involvement:

“He can direct an episode… Actually (Sheen) could play a car for all I care. He’s awesome.”

So, who’s up for Sheen as a crazed, zombie playboy? Oh wait, …

The Walking Dead creator Robert Kirkman talked to THR over the weekend and Charlie Sheen's name got brought up, as an offer to join Season Two? Here's a little of what Kirkman said;

"Charlie call us, we we will totally make that happen," he says, speaking from the Paley Center Walking Dead event Friday. "We'll do whatever you want."

Hey what about Andrew Lincoln's character Rick Grimes?

Kirkman, then says;

"He can direct an episode. Actually (Sheen) could play a car for all I care," he adds. "He's awesome."

I think what Robert Kirkman is saying, he has a sense of humor (or at least I hope he is kidding) and has been watching the public downward spirl that is Charlie Sheen. Would anyone in their right mind cast him right now? Get...

"The Walking Dead" opened the 2011 PaleyFest on March 4 in Beverly Hills' Saban Theater where creator Robert Kirkman uttered the most bizarre idea. Kirkman told THR that he wants Charlie Sheen to take part in the second season, proving once again that Sheen was right when he said that everybody wants to work with him now that "Two and a Half Men" is uncertain.

"Charlie call us, we will totally make that happen. We'll do whatever you want," Kirkman said to Sheen. The producer then continued, still sending a message to the troubled actor, "We'll recast You as Rick. Andrew Lincoln will find something else to do."

In more serious and logical statement, Kirkman said that Sheen perhaps could direct an episode, adding "Actually (Sheen) could play a car for all I care. He's awesome."

Inside the panel, Kirkman answered some questions regarding the show's story in season 2 which debuts this Fall.

Here's an interesting and completely unexpected news item coming in for everyone's favorite Chernobyl-like celebrity, Charlie Sheen. It seems as if since his schedule is now free, he could be appearing on, of all things, Season 2 of the "The Walking Dead".

According to The Hollywood Reporter's Live Feed Blog Robert Kirkman, writer of the graphic novels and executive producer of the hit AMC television series, tells THR he would love Sheen to appear in the second season.
