Fox will be accepting nominations until October 18 for its third annual Fox Writers Intensive, which is designed to nurture the careers of experienced writers with diverse voices, backgrounds and life experiences and create a pipeline of talent for potential staffing as writers, story editors or producers on Fox productions. Last year, writer-director Yule Caise was selected as the Fwi Fellow from the class of 10 finalists. He inked a development deal with FX Networks and will pitch a new original script to FX, and he just signed with Apa. Congrats to the 10 finalists! Based on my research of each of them, I was able to determine that 2 of them are writers of African descent - so these are 2 writers we may not have been aware of before, but are aware of now. They are Yule Caise and Theo Travers. If I missed any others who are of African descent, I'm sure someone will point them out. But I looked up each name, and based on my findings, these are the only 2. And the photos above are the best I coud find.
