- Brook Byron was born on July 31, 1913 in Weakley County, Tennessee, USA. She was an actress, known for Auntie Mame (1958), Everybody's Old Man (1936) and Laughing at Trouble (1936). She died on May 29, 2006 in Leland, Michigan, USA.
- She began as a dancer in touring revues and later became a clothes model. In 1935, she was signed by 20thCentury Fox as a budding starlet but never made the grade and eventually quit films for the New York stage and work in television. She left show business altogether in the 1970's and retired to Kentucky.
