His National Theatre credits include: Creon in Sophocles' "Oedipus" (also international tour), Fridtjof Nansen in "Fram", a new play by Tony Harrison (both 2008), Thersites in Shakespeare's "Troilus and Cressida", Ryumin in Gorky's "Summerfolk", Smooth in "Money", the Cat in the musical "Honk!" (all 1999) and "The Visit" by Friedrich Dürrenmatt
