Heinz Braun was born in 1919 in Bochum, Germany. He was a Soviet actor. In 1939 Heinz Braun graduated from the Polytechnic in Germany. In the rank of Oberleutenant, Braun served in the army of General Rommel during the Second World War in Africa, where he was wounded by an anti-personnel mine. After treatment in the hospital, he served in parts of the SS troops on the Eastern Front. Since the 50's he lived in the USSR. Heinz Braun worked as a foreign news announcer for West Germany and in the Committee on Television and Radio Broadcasting, and was a movie actor. In addition to acting, he was also a consultant for the uniform of the Wehrmacht and the SS. The last film, in which Heinz Braun took part was "Humiliated and Injured", dated 1991. The date and place of death of Heinz Braun are unknown.
