- The actor and director Rudolf Biebrach made an education as a wood-block engraver and worked in this profession for a few years. Beside it he took acting lessons.
- His daughter Erika-Margot Biebrach became an actress too.
- Also as a movie director he was much in demand. For many of his movies he appeared as an actor himself and in those years he often engaged the actress Henny Porten for the leading role.
- He made his stage debut in Giessen in 1890, afterwards followed engagements at different German cities, among others at the Thalia theater in Hamburg.

- In the sound film era of the 30s Rudolf Biebrach only realised few more movies as a director like the documentary films "Am Rande der Sahara" (1930) and "L'évolution mysterieuse dans l'oeuf" (1930).
- As an actor he remained busy till to his death.
- The film business was in his focus at an early time in Biebrach's life and he became a busy movie actor and director from 1913.
