- Arthur Bergen was born on October 24, 1875 in Germany. He was an actor and director, known for Erinnerungen einer Nonne (1927), Frühere Verhältnisse (1927) and Das Lebenslied (1926). He died in 1943.
- After a perennial interruption he returned to the big screen. In the meanwhile the silent movie was replaced by the sound film.
- Arthur Bergen and his wife were deported to the concentration in camp in 1943 where both were murdered.
- At the beginning of the 20s he took part again in a number of productions before his engagements in front of the camera diminished.
