Dorothy Bennett(1907-1988)

Grew up in Detroit. Took night school classes in playwriting. Worked in
the advertising department of Hudson's Department Store in Detroit.
Moved to New York and wrote the play "Fly Away Home". When the play was
going to be made into a movie she decided to move to Los Angeles. Met
her future husband Link Hanna on a trip to New York. Worked at MGM
studios as a writer in Hollywood.
