He wrote a well resarched books on Italians in American History: "Lincoln's Foreign Legion" is the regimental history of the 39th New York Infantry known as the Garibaldi Guard, which served during the Civil War 1861-1865.

"Lincoln's Foreign Legion" were foreign born Union soldiers that were in a polyglot regiment called The Garibaldi Guard ; the men came from fifty-two European principalities and fourteen American States. The book covers the careers of some of the officers and men in the post-Civil War years. In addition, a list of all the men (over 2,000) and a brief synopsis of their time serving in the regiment is provided. The envolvement of Italians in the American Civil War is well covered. As a performance artist, he demonstrates sculpturing in clay. His novelty act consists of working in front of an easel as he sculpts modeling clay and forms it, in rapid fire fashion, into models of the faces of celebrities and cartoon characters familiar to the public.

Worked as a special effects make up artist, and mask maker trained in the Motion Picture Producers Association Make Up Artist Apprentice Program in the early 1970s.

Updated and expanded version of his book on performers of Italian ancestry is entitled"Italactors: From Don Ameche to Louis Zamperini: Italians in Motion Pictures and Television from 1895 to 1996" It is such a large directory that it was adapted to be available on Kindle so it could be read on line.

His book, "Italactors", is a directory of 630 actors and actresses who you may or may not have known were Italian Americans, and is backed up with a data base of nearly 6,000 more names and biographies.
